How we intervene
Four services.One discipline.
From a single artwork to a fully narrated place.
Perceptive audits, tailored artworks and exhibitions for places in Koh Samui

01
— 01 · Read the place
Perceptive Audit.
- Written assessment
- Four levels of depth
- Delivered within 15 days
We read the place as guests live it, and compare what it conveys with what it is meant to convey. Four levels of depth, from a short reading to a complete signature, depending on the project.
You receive a written reading: what your place conveys today, where it departs from its intention, and the few interventions that will change the most.

02
— 02 · Built for one place
Tailored Artworks.
- Site-specific artworks
- Production 8–12 weeks
- Install & finalise on site
Artworks chosen from our collections or created for one place, its light, its use and what it should make felt. Not “inspired by”. Made for.
We never choose an artwork because we have it. We choose it, or have it created, because the place needs it.
Each piece answers a brief that follows the audit: subtract attention, introduce a slow point, carry a thread across rooms. The artwork is never alone: light, sequence and what is taken away matter as much.

03
— 03 · Temporary installations
In-situ Exhibitions.
- 3–6 month installation
- Curated for the host venue
- Scenography included
A selection of artworks curated by Art Samui for one venue, shown for a season. Scenography, light and wall labels are designed for the place.
— EMERGESCENCE Volume I, 2026: nine paintings installed in a dedicated gallery space, Koh Samui.

04
— 04 · A fully narrated project
Spatial Storytelling.
- 6–18 months engagement
- A fully narrated place
- Multi-space coherence
A fully narrated project, for a hotel, a residence or a wellness destination. We work alongside the architect and operator from master plan to handover.
Each room contributes to a sequence. Each sequence to a narrative. The whole leaves a trace that outlives the visit.
— Curation & sourcing
How an artwork is chosen
An artwork never arrives because it is available. It arrives because a place needs it, and it is found wherever it is.
- 01The place firstWe begin with what the place should make felt, its light, its scale and the moment it holds in the sequence of spaces. Only then do we look for an artwork.
- 02The searchWe search our collections, the artworks of our partner artists, and the galleries we work with. When nothing fits, we have the artwork created for the place.
- 03The choiceEach artwork is chosen for one task in the room: to hold the eye, to slow the pace, to carry a thread to the next space. Size, palette and surface are checked against the place, not against a catalogue.
- 04In placeFraming, hanging height, light and labels are part of the curation. The same artwork, badly placed, says something else.
We never choose an artwork because we have it. We choose it, or have it created, because the place needs it.
Do you only propose artworks from your own collections?
No. We start from the project, not from our stock. If an artwork from our collections fits, we propose it; if none does, we have one created for the place.
Most places are designed.
Very few are perceived.
