The Perceptual Director
Sean de Ganzi reads what a place should make felt, and directs everything that serves it, artworks first. His work is to name what designers, architects and operators have sensed for years without the words to describe it. The artworks are where it becomes visible.
The collections
The artworks shown by Art Samui are created by Sean de Ganzi or by our partner artists, under our direction. Every artwork here is waiting for its place, not for a buyer: we propose it only to a place that needs it.
The gallery shows part of what we curate. Many of the artworks we place are found elsewhere, or created for the place that will receive them.
