For interior designers
Your interior holds the room. The right artworks give it a memory.
Art and Perceptual Direction for interior designers in Koh Samui

We do not do interior design. We make sure yours is felt.
You compose the interior: its palette, its materials, its furniture, its atmosphere. The artworks are often chosen last, sometimes by someone else, and they can confirm your intention or quietly contradict it.
Our discipline is Perceptual Direction: reading what a place should make felt, and directing everything that serves it, artworks first. We start from your concept, never from ours.
You
We
The concept, the palette and the materials
The reading of what each room should make felt
The furniture, the textiles and the styling
The artworks, their scale, their placement and their light
The relationship with your client
A single Perceptual Director at your side, in your process
What we never do. We do not design interiors, select furniture or style rooms. We do not replace you with your client. When something outside the artworks would serve the intention, we tell you, and the decision stays yours.

From your moodboard to the last artwork hung
- 01Concept.We read your concept and your client's intention, and agree what each key room should make felt.
- 02Selection.We propose artworks from our collections, or a brief for artworks created for the project, in dialogue with your palette and materials.
- 03Presentation.You present the proposal to your client, with us at your side if you wish.
- 04Installation.Framing, transport, hanging and lighting are handled with local specialists, on your schedule.
Also for finished interiors: one key wall, or a complete sequence.

What your studio receives
- A reading of your concept. What each room should make felt, in words you can share with your client.
- An artwork proposal. Images, sizes and placements, ready to present in your own deck.
- The artworks. From our collections or created for the project, by Sean de Ganzi or by our partner artists, under our direction. We never choose an artwork because we have it. We choose it, or have it created, because the place needs it.
- Installation handled. Framing, transport, hanging and lighting adjustments.
- Credit where you want it. The artworks can be presented as part of your project, under your name and ours.
- Confidentiality. Client names, plans and budgets stay between us.

Every project is made with the island's companies
An artwork is never placed by one hand. Each project we direct brings together companies from Koh Samui: architects and interior designers, builders, framers, lighting specialists, art handlers and installers. We know their work, and we coordinate it so that your team has one point of contact instead of six.
This is how we work in Koh Samui: alongside the people who build it, never in their place.

Three ways to work with us
- Project by project. You bring us into one project, at the stage you choose. We agree the scope together, and the collaboration ends with the handover.
- Preferred partner. Art Samui becomes the art and perceptual partner you propose to your clients. You receive our reading early in each project, and your firm is credited on every artwork we place together.
- Network partner. For firms that want to go further: an introduction to how we read a place, and a place in the Perspicism network, of which Art Samui is the first Asian hub.
Each partnership is set out in a written agreement: roles, credits, confidentiality and remuneration are discussed and agreed before anything begins.
Your interior is seen.
With the right artworks, it is remembered.
Bring a project, or simply your practice.

What we look for in a partner
- Respect for each discipline. You lead the interior, we lead the artworks, and every decision outside our field is yours.
- Projects where experience matters. Hotels, resorts, spas, villas and developments meant to be remembered, whatever their size.
- Early conversations. The best results come when we meet before the plans are fixed.
- Discretion. What we learn about a client or a project stays between us.
- A presence in Koh Samui or Thailand. And an openness to projects elsewhere in the region.

Questions
Will you compete with us for our clients?
No. We do not offer interior design, and we never approach your clients without you.
Can we present the artworks as part of our own proposal?
Yes. Many designers present our proposal within their own, and we can join the presentation if you wish.
Do you work only with artworks from your own collections?
No. If an artwork from our collections fits your concept, we propose it; if none does, we have one created for the project.
How is the collaboration remunerated?
It depends on the project and on the form of partnership. Everything is agreed in writing before work begins.
